Veneers are custom made thin shells with tooth-looking colors that are carefully placed to cover the front side of teeth. They are often used to fix gaps between teeth, or cover stained or irregular teeth. This procedure is usually not reversible because a very thin surface of enamel is removed to give room for the shells
